F.A.Q

How are these being used so far?

At the moment, many colleges such as Purdue University, Oregon State University, University of Kentucky, and many more are using something like this for their students. Their robots are called Starship robots and they deliver daily on campus. Additionally, Los Angeles International Airport have robots called NomNom that deliver food.

Won't we trip on them at the airport?

Yes, it is possible. On the other hand, Purdue University have robots somewhat like this and they have very minimal damage to their robots. We just ask that people be aware of their surroundings and pay close attention to make sure they don't cause damage to the robots.

How can I order food?

There are restaurants or fast food placed scattered around many airports. Delta's new addition, NomNom robots, can help you get your food quick. The robots go to the restaurants. In those restaurants, there are little stations in which the NomNom robots go and pick up the food. The robots then deliver them to gate area, and you enter your code you get on your phone to open the hatch on the top of the robot. You can download the app, or order from the site.
